MWD Design Ltd was founded in 2026 by Chartered Structural Engineer Michael Dempster (MICE MIStructe) to provide structural engineering design services to clients within the Edinburgh area.With a decade of experience in the building structures sector we are able to offer a comprehensive set of services at an affordable price, while still maintaining a high standard with fully qualified staff and suitable PI insurance cover.We can guide you through the process, starting with a no obligation initial consultation, through to the calculations and modelling, and then on to the production of warrant drawings and building control submission. All of our designs are carried out in accordance with the Scottish Building Standards and meet the requirements of Edinburgh City Council building control.
